The Sussex Guild is exhibiting over the August Bank Holiday at Pashley Manor Gardens. Selected for their high degree of skill and creativity, Guild designers will be showing their work in a large marquee in front of the Grade I listed oak framed Tudor house. You'll have a chance to chat to the makers of beautifully handmade ceramics, furniture, textiles, jewellery, woodwork, metalwork and more. Work can be purchased or specially commissioned.
Near Ticehurst, on the East Sussex/Kent border, the award-winning gardens at Pashley are quintessentially English, nestled in picturesque countryside. Imaginative blends of planting abound, and the "hot" borders of dahlias, cannas and asters are at their peak in high summer. Wander through colour-themed garden "rooms" and discover vistas, fountains, ponds and fine old trees. Produce from the Kitchen Garden can be sampled with delicious locally sourced ingredients at the excellent Garden Room Café and terrace.
All making a delightful day out with a special entry price £13.00.
