The House of Kaleidoscopes - ExploreTheArch

About

Artist and performer Hannah Collisson explores kaleidoscopic wonders to reflect her Ghanaian story in this intimate experiential theatre performance from ExploreTheArch made with theatre-maker Gail Borrow and engineer @PoorlyBeetle.

The idea for this show was born as Hannah visited Ghana for the first time, a country to which she traces part of her heritage. In visiting a place that had previously resided only in her imagination, her perspective started to shift.

A kaleidoscope holds a moment, which continually unfurls into new perspectives. In the show Hannah explores fragments of her personal narrative, and her joy in the constant shifting and opening up of new realities.

Step into the joy of shapes and colour in perpetual motion!

ExploreTheArch is a not-for-profit, global majority-led company exploring domestic life in international experiential theatre performance and site specific installation. ExploreTheArch also delivers the annual A Town Explores A Book festival in St Leonards.

The company's venue Archer Lodge is a modern day abbey - a live/work space and hive of creativity - and the UK's only theatre venue dedicated to the exploration of domestic life.
