1066 Country Marketing is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This accessibility statement applies to our website.
This website is run by 1066 Country Marketing. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.
The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
Some images and functionality buttons do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content). We will always add text alternatives for images added after October 2025. When we publish new content, we’ll make sure our use of images and functionality meets accessibility standards. Our team are working their way through older images and videos on the website to add alt text and this is a work in progress.
Some of our forms do not have accessible text. Our team are working their way through older forms on the website to add alt text and this is a work in progress.
Some content and functionality of our website page is not currently accessible using a keyboard (for example, the hamburger menu, the search and favourite icons, map filter buttons).
The keyboard focus is not visible across the website and not fully functional on the hamburger menu options.
The ‘Search’ button is no longer visible when viewed at 200% zoom.
The content within the hamburger menu does not reflow correctly when viewed at 400% zoom.
Multiple elements across the website do not have sufficient size or space between them. For example, 'Privacy' button and Accessibility icon.
Elements including the search banner and hamburger menu fail WCAG focus not obscured as elements cover links across the webpage that receive keyboard focus.
We are working with our website developers and internal teams to fix these issues and add accesibile text across our website. We last tested our website on 27th November 2025.
