Set against the backdrop of Europe's largest beach-launched fishing fleet, this much-loved seaside festival celebrating 20 years of the very best of Hastings' fishing heritage alongside fantastic live music, award-winning local wines, locally brewed beers, artisan food producers, and a vibrant atmosphere for all ages.
Feast by the Sea: Celebrating Local Food & Wine
Festivalgoers can enjoy an outstanding selection of local food, artisan produce, street food, and Sussex flavours throughout the weekend.
The festival proudly champions Sussex producers and independent traders, giving visitors the opportunity to discover high-quality local ingredients and unique flavours from across the region. Whether you're looking for relaxed festival dining, family favourites, or something a little indulgent, there will be plenty to enjoy across the weekend.
A particular highlight of the festival is the celebration of Sussex drinks producers, with local vineyards showcasing exceptional English wines alongside a fantastic range of locally brewed beers, craft ales, ciders, spirits, and cocktails. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample and discover some of the region's finest producers while soaking up the unique atmosphere of Hastings Old Town.

Friday 11 September – Northern Soul
Kick off the weekend with the unmistakable sound of Northern Soul. Expect an electric atmosphere filled with classic floor-fillers, driving beats, and non-stop dancing as top bands and DJs bring this iconic scene to life by the sea. Get ready to spin, stomp, and soak up the energy.
Saturday 12 September – Country, Western & Americana
Saddle up for a full day of Country, Western & Americana. From timeless country classics to modern Americana sounds, the entertainment tent will be alive with rich storytelling, toe-tapping rhythms, and singalong favourites. Whether you're line dancing or simply relaxing with friends and family, Saturday promises a true feel-good festival experience.
Sunday 13 September – Jazz, Ska & Soul
Ease into Sunday with a rich blend of jazz, ska, and soul. The day begins with the much-loved Jazz Breakfast, headlined by Liane Carroll. A firm festival favourite, Liane returns to deliver world-class live jazz in a unique seaside setting. As the day unfolds, enjoy smooth soul grooves and uplifting ska rhythms, bringing the festival to a perfect close.
