Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve

About

The Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve has over 267 hectares of ancient woodland, heathland and grassland together with 3 miles (5km) of dramatic cliffs and coastline. Lying within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, most of the park has been designated a Special Area of Conservation, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is a designated Local Nature Reserve.

A leaflet containing a detailed map of Hastings Country Park and the numerous walks within it is available from the Tourist Information Centre, or you can download it here.

Please note Ecclesbourne Glen is not accessible from the East Hill because of serious, and ongoing, landslips.
This route is likely to be closed for some time, so access to Ecclesbourne Glen is only viable from the car park in Barley Lane, or further east from the Firehills.
