Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve

About

A fabulous nature reserve with stunning coastal scenery situated within the High Weald Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore ancient woodland glens with their unique biodiversity and rugged coastal paths.  Conservation grazing and sustainable management helps make this one of the most important nature reserves in the country.

The Bale House, Hastings Country Park's innovative new visitor centre is the first of its kind in Hastings. Built sustainably from materials including straw bales, it contains information about the park, including its habitats and local wildlife, a café and merchandise supplied by local businesses.

A leaflet containing a detailed map of Hastings Country Park and the numerous walks within it is available from the Tourist Information Centre, or you can download it here.

Poorly maintained facilities, impossible car park payment methods. If you're going to have a cash payment system then makes sure it works. Read full review
