Join English Heritage at Battle Abbey every day of the summer holidays to learn what life was like in medieval times. Discover the murky world of crime and punishment, take part in sword and pike drills, and learn the foul concoctions medieval doctors would use to cure their patients. With a different activity each week, there's sure to be something for everyone.
Activities will change week to week so please check the Facebook page for more details.
Kicking off Medieval Season, we have a medieval surgeon talking you through what medicine looked like many centuries ago. Yes, we will cover blood-sucking leeches, so squeamish be warned.
