Christmas Calligraphy workshop

About

In this workshop led by local artist Alina from Creative Feel Designs, you'll be taught how to use calligraphy and watercolours to create your own Christmas cards in the cosy surroundings of Bateman's House Kitchen. In the first half of the session, you will get familiar with the materials and learn the basic strokes of calligraphy by practising uppercase and lowercase alphabets. Afterwards, you will learn how to add watercolour painting and create Christmas designs to take home on the day.

Perfect for complete calligraphy newbies and those who have tried their hand at calligraphy before and need a reminder of how much fun it can be.

Calligraphy beginner kits will be available to purchase on the day from Alina in addition to the workshop for £35. Payments for the kits can be made by cash and card.

Wed 12 and Thurs 13 Nov | Two workshops per day, 11am & 2pm.

Two-hour sessions, £35 per person, ten people per session. Entry to Bateman's is included in the ticket price.
