About

Seven Acre Woods offers you time away Cabining in bespoke Woodland Cabins or Camping on a Tent Pitch... either way, a quiet escape to a peaceful setting in the rural country.  Set in woodland of over seven acres, you’ll find wildlife on the doorstep and be surrounded by stunning scenery in a tranquil and idyllic setting

We are located just outside the little ‘picture perfect’ village of Sedlescombe in East Sussex, a few miles from Battle and Hastings where there are plenty of days out and sightseeing trips beyond Seven Acre Woods itself, as well as many attractions and excursions more local to the area you can too enjoy.

Within Seven Acre Woods, we have 5 Woodland Cabins within our peaceful and relaxing woods to accommodate 2 adults and 2/3 children.  Self catering with heating, electricity and bathroom facilities, each Cabin has his own unique decor and layout with cosiness galore to make your stay enjoyable during all Seasons.

Each Woodland Cabin has been carefully designed and uniquely decorated in a rustic and comfortable decor to ensure our guests have all the amenities you would expect for a relaxing and comfortable stay.  With home from home comforts to include bedding, towels, toiletries and a Hello Board, self catering will be an ease and a joy.

Along with your own shower room and kitchen area, each Cabin has a fixed double bed and sleeping arrangements for 2 children.  A sheltered seated verandah area with views of the stunning neighbouring Reservoir as well as a Fire Pit with BBQ grill and seating, will ensure you can make the most of the outdoors during your stay.  All kitchen supplies are at hand and you can too pre order Meal Bundles or a Ready Dinner Pot should you wish to make your stay even more easy and relaxing.

Upcycled, recycled, reused and handmade, the cabins and other structures are bespoke and unique in every way using natural materials and hand crafted skills in every opportunity.

We have a NO music policy throughout Seven Acre Woods which respects that we are within An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and means yourselves, neighbouring wildlife, us as well as your fellow Cabiners and Campers can enjoy the setting and outdoor life to the fullest.

Dogs are allowed at Seven Acre Woods (as long as kept on leads outside Cabins and not left alone onsite)... there is just as much for them to explore and visit too!

With so much to offer including fire pits, books and games, Kidz Woodz, den building, Meal Bundles and an onsite Honesty Shop along with beautiful walks around Powdermill Reservoir, your time with us we are sure will fulfil all you need during your stay.
