PAUL PIRIE - Headliner
A brilliant natural comedian, Paul Pirie comes packed full of energy and uses every ounce to maximum effect, with superb delivery. Paul was awarded Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2006 and has gone from strength to strength since then.
Paul's career has encompassed TV, film and radio alongside his skills as a stand up, and he is now one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK Comedy Circuit. Paul has had a consecutive succession of sell out shows at The Glasgow Comedy Festival and has also performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Leith Festival.
"Fizzing with energy and spewing out one-liners like he had just scoffed a dodgy prawn. Pirie is a man we will be seeing more of." - Daily Record
DARIUS DAVIES - Supporting Act
With over a decade of experience, professional stand-up comedian Darius is a regular at Top UK Comedy Clubs. The Ultimate "Roast Host", Darius also runs his own show Hate'N'Live and makes appearances on other popular gong shows throughout the country. He then combines all this creativity and pours it back out on his weekly podcast "3speechpod".
"It's hilarious stuff, supercharged by precision timing and an impassioned, charismatic delivery that's tempered by an engaging self-effacing streak. This is a rock-solid hour of constant laughs from a skilled pro." - Chortle.
MATT PRICE - Compere
Cornish-born Matt Price has performed all over the world from Penzance to Cambodia. Now based in London, he's done 5 tours of Australia, 13 Edinburgh Festivals, played at most of the major clubs in the UK and has headlined in South East Asia. He hosted the "Conversations with Criminals" podcast where he interviewed former criminals about their lives and is currently writing a book about a retired criminal.
