About

Kino Rye is a cinema located in the medieval heart of the town, at the top of Lion Street, opposite the Town Hall.

The venue occupies a former Victorian library and won a RIBA Award for its design and renovation. There are two a stylish state-of-the-art cinemas, a private function space that is also used as a third screen, a large café-bar with a mezzanine lounge and a delightful sunny terrace.

Kino is open daily from 10.30am for breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening drinks and everything between including afternoon tea. Kino is renowned for serving the best coffee around and for its varied and interesting menu served all day and sourced locally. The well-stocked bar serves wines, beers, spirits and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic and soft drinks.

Kino is fully licensed so that you can enjoy a drink in the comfort of your cinema seat, so just sit back, relax and enjoy the wide range of films and events in the weekly programme.
