We are located in Rye Harbour, opposite the Rye Harbour Lifeboat station, next to Rye Harbour nature reserve.
We have an extensive collection of unisex mountain pedal bikes to suit all ages, or try one of our tandems, (two is better than one). We also have a trekidoo which is a practical tricycle to carry two children on the back with safety harnesses, tag-a-longs, rear baby child seats, child and dog trailers. Helmets, locks & maps are provided.
We have an interactive route map of the local area with detailed cycle routes for you to follow.
Take a bicycle and ride through the 1150 acres of the nature reserve via the designated trails, or stay on the tarmac private road through to Pett Level. Discover the wildlife in a mosaic of coastal habitats – shingle, salt marsh, saline lagoons, coastal grazing marsh, freshwater gravel pits and reed-beds. Explore the continues changing coastline.
Henry VIII's Camber Castle lies within the nature reserve between Rye and Winchelsea. Camber castle is only accessible on foot or with a bicycle riding on the designated paths.
Or you could take the coastal road through Camber to Lydd, Dungeness and beyond.
You can stop for a coffee & cake at one of the cafés on route or why not stop for a local pub lunch.
Our cycle hire centre is conveniently located next to the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve with car parking in nearby large free public car park.
To book please visit harbourcycles.com where you will find a comprehensive booking system detailing our entire range of bikes and accessories, showing availability and prices.
