A timeless tale of love at first sight, secret vows, violent hatred and fateful misunderstandings that leads to heart-breaking tragedy.
Having performed Romeo & Juliet in 2014, 2018 and 2019, Bowler Crab combines the best elements from each tour for this 2026 production with an all new cast.
Facilities at Battle Abbey School
Performances are outdoors with an indoor contingency plan in place.
To attend the event, please enter through the iconic Abbey Gates onto the Battle Abbey Grounds.
No English Heritage fee will be required to enter to see the show but exploring the ruins and further battle grounds will.
Bowler Crab plan to perform outside on the Six Penny Lawn in front of the Western range.
If the weather is looking nasty, we will move into the Abbott's Hall.
Please bring your own lawn furniture.
Chairs will be available if you are unable to bring your own.
A bar with alcoholic, hot and soft drinks will be provided with homemade cakes.
Your own picnics, food and drinks are also welcomed.
Toilet facilities are available inside the building.
There are no steps required to enter the auditorium inside or outside.
There is some limited parking at the venue itself, please get in contact with us to secure your spot. Alternatively, we'd recommend the Mount Street carpark.
