Kids Rule! at Battle Abbey

About

Get ready for a right royal knees-up at English Heritage's Kids Rule! events this May half-term. Join us in the grounds of Battle Abbey to celebrate King Charles III's coronation with hands-on activities and fresh-air family fun.

Come and learn the fundamentals of swordsmanship at sword school and learn about the Norman's best weapon, horses, through cavalry training. Throughout the day you can listen to our medieval storytellers' epic accounts covering the Anglo-Saxon kings, the famous Battle of Hastings and the transition to Norman rule.
