Step away from the noise of everyday life and immerse yourself in the gentle beauty of the Sussex countryside in early autumn. Over the course of a blissful weekend in our luxurious cabins, our dahlia dreams retreat invites you to unwind and explore your creativity.
As well as celebrating flowers, this retreat gives you the time and space you crave to get into that glorious flow state and create beautiful things. Whether you're drawn to photography, painting, writing or flower arranging, your magical cabin hideaway offers space for new ideas to flourish
We'll begin with an inspiring visit to Sarah Raven's Perch Hill garden, known for its abundant dahlia displays. You'll see spectacular dahlias of all types, from perfectly spherical pompons to decadent dinner plates.
Back at the cabins, you'll get to choose a bucket full of dahlias, handpicked from our cut flower beds - yours to style, photograph, sketch, or simply admire. We'll also provide watercolour pencils and art paper, plus thoughtfully chosen prompts to help you unlock new ideas.
Throughout the weekend, there'll be plenty of time to relax, read and enjoy woodland walks as the season begins to change. You'll also be treated to homemade cake from Great Park Farm, and receive a surprise book gift from our local independent bookshop, Rother Books.
Come nighttime, you can enjoy peaceful evenings beneath the stars in your cozy cabin, perhaps accompanied by some classical music on your vintage Roberts radio.
By the end of your stay, you won't just have a fresh bunch of dahlias to take home. Well-rested and rejuvenated by your mindful weekend among the flowers, you'll have a renewed sense of inspiration to carry into your daily life.
