Lifelong friends, Jack and Stephen, share experiences of their work, process and vision in an illuminating evening of delightful conversation.
Stephen Buckley works in an often unconventional range of materials. He was influenced by Pop Art and Dada, and addresses the major themes of the 20th century. He has held over 50 solo exhibitions and is represented in many national collections, including the Tate.
Jack Milroy is notable for torn paper works and cutouts, and has worked with diverse materials such as stamps and maps. His creations combine grace and deftness with a dash of Surrealism and an irrepressible sense of humour. His work is in collections worldwide from the V&A to the Chase Manhattan Bank.
