About

Our still wines are the epitome of Gusbourne craftsmanship and care. We produce these wines only in the best vintages using the highest quality fruit.

This masterclass, hosted by Gusbourne Ambassador Steve Kirkham, is a fascinating way to explore our range of still wines – from their production to how they taste in the glass. The event begins with a guided tour of our winery, where Steve, a fine-wine expert with decades of experience in the industry at the country’s most prestigious wine merchants and Michelin-starred restaurants, will share his insights into how we make our still wines.

We’ll then sit down for a detailed masterclass tasting current releases and cellar-aged library vintages of our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay Guinevere and Chardonnay 809 wines.

After the tutored tasting, you’ll enjoy a delicious three-course menu, showcasing fantastic local ingredients and paired with Gusbourne wines.

This event begins at 12 noon with a drink to welcome you to The Nest. We expect the day to be concluded by 3.30pm and recommend that taxi arrangements are made in advance. Some of the wines which you will try will be available to purchase on the day. You are welcome to enjoy more wine by the bottle or glass at your table after your experience if you wish. Our estate will close at 5pm.
