An extraordinary world première combining the words of Tennyson's eternally moving poem "Enoch Arden" with the piano score composed by Richard Strauss interspersed with the D.W.Griffith silent film from 1911.

With Karen Drury, narrator and John Thwaites, piano

A classic story of love and tragedy which was hugely popular in the second half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century set to a rich piano score and turned into an iconic silent film.
