New Year's Day✨
Looking to blow away the cobwebs on New Year's Day? Well, why not come for a ride behind Marcia?
Marcia will be hauling her first passenger trains on the KESR mainline for (we think) over 40 years!
Three shuttles are planned from Tenterden Town to Rolvenden departing at
10:50,
12:50
14:30.
Two other steam locos will be in operation alongside Marcia making it a great day out.
Make sure you wrap up warm. Marcia can't provide steam heat so it will be a little chilly inside the planned Victorian 4-wheel coach. Please note you will have to alight at Rolvenden whilst the train goes to run round in the carriage shed - but this will give you time to visit the viewing gallery and see the other locomotives in Rolvenden yard. This is so exciting!!!!
Marcia will be at Tenterden to take part in the Rail 200 "Whistle Event" at 12:00
Platform tickets are available on the day for just £1.00 (and the BBC will be with us filming the event)
