Our RAF Association branches are coming together to raise funds for the Wings Appeal, helping veterans and serving members of the Royal Air Force and their families.
By supporting the Wings Appeal, you are helping the RAF Association continue its mission by ensuring that those who have given so much on our behalf are able to lead the dignified, fulfilled and independent lives they deserve. September 2025 marks the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Join us for a sponsored walk this September, raising money for the RAFA Wings Appeal!
A 3-mile route will be marked out on Bexhill's seafront, between the Angling Club and the Beach Garden. You can walk or run the route for as long as you like.
To enter the Wings Walk, you must pre-register in person. This can be
done at The Albatross Club or at the Bexhill-on-Sea Town Council Hub on Western Road. Entry fee is £5.
Participants will receive a wristband upon arrival at the event and a certificate and medal upon completion.
Once you've registered, it's time to collect your sponsorship money! Donations of any amount are welcome, and you should direct donors to the Wings Appeal's Just Giving page, where they can give directly to the Wings Appeal. They can leave a message of support for you if they wish. There will also be a donation point on the day of the event.
See www.rafa.org.uk for more details, and we hope to see you on the day!
