The prestigious PURE Autumn Art Fair will be returning to the beautiful and historic PowderMills Hotel, Battle, East Sussex between 5 and 13 October 2019 for its 10th Anniversary edition.
The PowderMills is a stunning privately owned 18th Century listed Country House nestling in 150 acres of beautiful parklands, woods and large lakes, situated just outside the historic town of Battle, adjoining the famous Battlefield of 1066.
Curated by Lesley Samms, the Art Fair will showcase the work of some forty invited artists working across all fine art media including painting, drawing, printmaking, digital art, photography, sculpture, ceramics and glass.
Exhibitors will include 2018 award winners Simone Riley, Will Taylor SGFA RBA, Celia Allen NDD, Nick Hebditch, Gavin Roweth and Hildegard Pax.
PURE have also recently launched two new gallery spaces
The first can be found within the historic Beauport House at Bannatyne Hotel & Spa, Hastings. Located within the boardroom, opposite the hotel reception area, the new gallery is open to the public everyday unless the room is subject to private hire. We advise you call the Hotel to confirm in advance if you are making a special journey.
To coincide with the Art Fair, the Beauport House gallery will be exhibiting a selected collection of PURE member's artwork responding to the title "illuminated".
The second new gallery space can be found at The Smallholding farm and kitchen in Kilndown, Kent and during October will be exhibiting artwork by award winning artist Simone Riley.
