A fun-filled day for all the family as you learn what it takes to be a real knight!
Experience action-packed tournament duels, arming the knight and get involved with storytelling shows and armour handling throughout the day, as performers from Histrionics deliver this interactive family-friendly event.
Knight School timetable:
Storytelling: 10.30am & 3.45pm Hear incredible tales of Knights and their adventures with this interactive story-show; fun for all the family!
Arming the Knight: 11am & 2.30pm Get dressed for battle. Discover fascinating facts about a Knight's armour as our men-at-arms prepare to fight...
The Knight Fight: 11.30am & 3pm Watch as armoured Knights clash with medieval longswords in tournament combat.
Trial by Combat: 1.30pm Challenged to defend her reputation, a wife trains with a fight-master, preparing for a medieval duel against her husband.
The Children's Battle: 12.30pm & 2pm Learn fight poses, sword techniques and then take part in a rehearsed battle-show. Under 7s must be accompanied by an adult in the arena.
18–26 August, 10am-4.15pm, drop-in throughout the day. Free event (admission applies).
