A photography exhibition by Alexandra Vacaroiu.
Before we fall into deep sleep we are trapped in between two worlds, where the subconscious is carefully weaving its motifs and reality is losing ground.
Sequences of dreams are recreated using digital and analogue techniques. Collected from the subconscious, these images are portraying Jungian archetypes and references to the collective unconscious.
Alexandra finished her BA in Photography and Film at the University of The Arts, Bucharest, followed up by an MA in Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion. Her work is revolving between identity and memory and has been exhibited in prestigious photography and art galleries such as the V&A Museum, The Photographers Gallery and British Council.
On for a very special week-long exhibition at Red Door. This is one not to miss!
