This is a strenuous walk for 12 miles. Start of walk is 10am prompt.
Circular walk starting from Battle and following part of the 1066 Walk returning via Netherfield.
Hilly with outstanding views of the High Weald.
Parking is available at 3 car parks in Battle.
Layered clothing is advisable with a windproof/waterproof top. Good walking boots/shoes essential.
Dogs not recommended.
Public toilets are Mount Street car park. Further toilets are at a Netherfield pub following lunch break - you may need to purchase a drink to use the facilities.
Please bring your own lunch and drinks.
