About

A moderate walk over 7 miles.

Numerous hills, stiles and some muddy paths.

Includes views of The High Weald, beautiful 12th century village of Burwash.  Enjoy views of Bateman's House (home of Rudyard Kipling) and hear stories about iron-making in Sussex.

Free public car park next to the Bear Inn.

Bus service - Monday-Saturday between Uckfield and Etchingham.

Rail - Etchingham Station (3 miles from Burwash) on London-Hastings line.

Wear stout waterproof boots, waterproof jacket, trousers, warm clothing if cold.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.
