Art of Trees Outdoor Exhibition

About

Bedgebury is home to the National Conifer Collection and the tree collection is internationally known for the great diversity of species being utilised for research. One of the volunteer groups at Bedgebury is completely unique at the Forestry Commission, the Bedgebury Pinetum Florilegium Society. This group of artists records the diversity of trees at Bedgebury with botanically accurate artwork. For the first time ever, this group has produced over 100 pieces to go on display amongst the trees at Bedgebury. The result is an outdoor exhibition showcasing the tree collection in all its diversity and with spotlights on some of the threatened species that Bedgebury's Tree Team conservation work aims to save from extinction. The outdoor exhibition is free to view in the National Pinetum until 29 March 2020.
