Annual Battle Marbles Match & Easter Bonnet Parade

About

Local teams compete in this traditional annual competition dating back to 1945.  Local pubs and clubs enter teams of 5 players and compete to win both the marbles and the fancy dress competition.  Approximately 20 teams are expected to take part with ‘flick-off’ at 10am.  Teams cannot be entered on the day; but there is an “all-comers board” for spectators of all ages.

The children’s Easter Bonnet competition is at 11.30.  Please note that if you have children who want to enter the competition we must know beforehand so that an Easter Egg prize can be organized for every child taking part.  Please call 01424 775169 or email Marbles@battlechamber.org  to register your child in the competition and we will mail a form to you.
