Relive the Spirit of Wartime Britain
Join us for a spectacular weekend of nostalgia as the railway transforms into a living, breathing snapshot of 1940s Britain! From vintage fashion to wartime melodies, this is your chance to experience the sights, sounds, and spirit of the greatest generation.
We're thrilled to announce that the D-Day Darlings (trio) will be performing live at Tenterden Town Station across the weekend, bringing their unforgettable harmonies and wartime classics to life.
Expect a packed programme of vintage delights:
Live music at both Tenterden and Bodiam
Authentic 1940s civilian and military vehicles
Vintage stalls bursting with treasures
Period hairstyling demonstrations
'Viv the Spiv' and his cheeky black-market antics
Why not dress the part? Dig out your best 1940s outfit and join the fun in full vintage style!
Your Freedom Ticket gives you unlimited train travel on the day, letting you hop between stations and explore a variety of attractions, performances, and re-enactments. Be sure to pick up your free wartime identity card to complete the experience.
With live performers, costumed re-enactors, and detailed 1940s displays at every turn, this is more than an event — it's a journey into history.
