About

AHOY to all our friends, family and supporters..

Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat is an independent lifeboat based in Pett Level.

Our volunteer crew are not only skilled and experienced to provide essential lifesaving services at sea – they also have hidden musical talenst!

Proudly introducing the Pett Slip Buoys – PLIRB's very own sea shanty group!! And they sound amazing!

After months of vocal training, harmonising and grasping the words, we are absolutely thrilled that they will perform a special musical event at the PLIRB Boathouse.

Sunday 24 September, from 5pm.

Eater's at Pett will be open serving great food and drinks – and now licensed, you can enjoy a glass of fizz or cider while you support our buoys.

Everyone welcome – do come down and support them, you will be impressed!
