Mother's Day is a special occasion to celebrate the love, care and sacrifices made by our female role models. It is a day to show appreciation and gratitude for all that they do – and to spend quality family time together. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful setting to celebrate Mother's Day in Sussex, then Michelham Priory is the perfect choice.
Michelham Priory is a stunning historic house and gardens in the heart of East Sussex that offers a variety of activities and events throughout the year.
On Mother's Day (March 19th, 2023), the heritage site opens its doors to families for the first time since the winter.
The central attraction will be a display of 80,000 blooming daffodils, which signal the start of spring.
Tours of the house will also be available along with family activities, such as dressing up.
And, to say thank you to the mums, grandmas and other female role models, mums go free when accompanied by anyone aged between 5 and 17.
All this makes it a great place to celebrate Mother's Day in Sussex.
