REFLECTIONS ON TIME
Easter weekend 7-9th April 2023
This Easter weekend, an #exhibition by ten local artists demonstrates both the beauty and fragility of our environment – which is very much of the moment and yet has always been thus – and the contrast between natural changes and those caused by man.
Here you will enjoy glimpses of people enjoying local beauty spots; the wonder of nature and threats to that wonder; reflections on the history of pots and ceramics and their use by man; the weathering of wood and trees; the use of recycled materials; dramatic still life work with a nod to history, and pictures of celebrities which challenge our perception.
The exhibition is on at the Rye Creative Centre on New Road over the Easter weekend. Friday is 2-8pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm.
