Bring your photos along to this workshop & place loved ones at the centre of your collage artworks.
In this three hour creative workshop you will incorporating your own photographs into your collage artworks. Perhaps you'll want to create a work in the style of the Sgt. Pepper's album cover featuring all of your friends or maybe place yourself in the jungle surrounded by lions or you could just make a simple piece featuring yourself or someone special to you.
After a quick warm-up activity, participants will be creating gift cards for those special occasions and an A4 artwork over the course of the afternoon. Shelley, from Ways of Seeing, will be on hand to share her knowledge and offer guidance along the way.
All tools and materials, apart from your personal photographs, will be provided. Normal photographic paper is fine for your photographs as is good-quality printing paper. Do bear in mind that you will be cutting up these photographs, so if they have sentimental value to them then please do use copies, rather than the originals. We suggest bringing up to ten images for you to work with.
Sustenance in the form of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
£18.50 per adult.
