Peasmarsh Chamber Music Festival aims to bring world-class musicians of international standing to this beautiful corner of rural East Sussex, allowing audiences to enjoy chamber music of the highest standard on their doorstep.
With nine concerts over four days, it is a significant event in the regional cultural calendar. Each year Co-directors Anthony Marwood and Richard Lester invite friends and fellow musicians from their international careers to join them in a mix of well-known and more unusual chamber repertoire alongside new works.
The concerts take place in the beautiful St Peter and St Paul Church, Peasmarsh along with a Friday night orchestral concert in St Mary's Church, Rye. Tickets range from £15 to £30 and there are several free concerts so there really is something for everyone's taste and pocket!
