Join artist Eloise Dethier-Eaton to learn the art of paper marbling, a mesmerising process where abstract patterns are created by dropping liquid paint on a surface of thickened water. In this full-day workshop, we will learn how to prepare our paper, paint and size for paper marbling, so that you have all the tools you need to marble independently at home afterwards. After that, we will work together through a range of paper marbling techniques, from basic patterns like stones, Italian vein and swirls, through to more complex ones like nonpareil.
