Wednesdays - 8th, 22nd & 29th September 2021 (3 sessions) - with Natasha
Suitable for children aged 3-5 years.
Do you have a little one who likes playing outdoors? Curious about nature? Would like to find out more about bugs, birds, and beasties? Why not bring them along to our Nature Tots sessions.
Our activities will connect with the natural environment, providing a wonderful opportunity for your little ones to experience and learn from nature. Children and parents will be engaged in hands-on outdoor activities themed around wildlife in a coastal setting. The sessions will encourage independent learning and team working – all of which will help to boost communication skills, problem solving, physical development and creativity. This is child-led learning and the role of the accompanying adults is to assist the Tots in doing as much of the task for themselves as possible.
We go outside rain or shine, so please dress for the weather and be ready to get wet and muddy! We sometimes build shelters and also have a quick shelter in case of showers. It is essential that the children are appropriately dressed as the temperature can be a little cooler on the nature reserve due to the sea breeze; long trousers and stout shoes or boots are recommended. So why not come along and give it a go!
ADULTS FREE OF CHARGE
Each session will have a different theme and will include exploring the reserve, playing games, craft activities and learning how to help wildlife thrive.
