As part of our exciting and eclectic 2020 May series of concerts we are delighted to present an exceptional concert with three of the finest and acclaimed guitarists 'Six Hands' - John Williams, John Etheridge & Gary Ryan on Friday 22nd May at St Mary's Church Rye, East Sussex.
We extend our gratitude to Barry Nealon for very kindly supporting this wonderful concert.
John Williams and John Etheridge are two giants of the guitar, loved by audiences all over the world. Their influence has spread to multiple genres and musical traditions, and their artistry has inspired a legacy of new work.
Having played together for many years, the two have added the gifted classical guitarist and composer Gary Ryan to their line-up for a colourful and varied programme of solos, duos and trios. The programme will include works by Vivaldi, Houghton, Seckou Keita, El Hadj N'Diaye, Williams, Etheridge and Ryan.
There is no better setting than St Mary's church in Rye which has wonderful architecture and superb acoustics to experience this unique and intimate performance.
