About

About the Event

Gather 'Round the Piano is Mike & Alex's annual Christmas concert — part celebration, part reflection, and part joyful community sing-along. What begins as a simple piano-and-voice evening gradually blooms into a stage full of guest performers, familiar faces, and local collaborators joining together in festive harmony. It's a chance to look back at everything this town has built and shared over the past year, and to close it together — side by side, singing the season in.

About the Artists

While the show features a wide swathe of Hastings' talented performers and groups, it is anchored by Singer-songwriter Mike Willis and jazz pianist Alex Bryson as the evening's hosts. Long-time friends and collaborators, they bring warmth, humour, and soul to the night — equal parts storytelling, musicianship, and celebration of community talent. Their chemistry sets an informal generous and welcoming tone.
