Bexhill Lions Triathlon and Duathlon 2014

Events are staged at the iconic De La Warr Pavilion giving you the option of an Open Water (sea swim) Triathlon and a scenic Duathlon event.

Each event has different distance options ranging from ‘Taster’ events with shorter distances for those of you that are perhaps new to the sport, to Standard distance events for those who fancy more of a challenge.

Over 200 took part in 2013, helping us raise thousands of pounds for charity. All proceed from our events are donated to charitable causes, and receiving specific donations in 2014 are St Michaels Hospice, Dragonflies, the Sara Lee Trust and the Bexhill Lions Club Charitable Trust Fund

A triathlon is a multi-discipline event where you first complete a swim in the sea, complete a cycle on the open roads and then finish with a run on the promenade

Distances available include:
Sprint Distance: 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
Standard Distance: 1500m swim, 40km cycle, 10km run

Bexhill Lions Duathlon
A duathlon is a multi-discipline event where you first complete a short run along the promenade, then complete a cycle on the open roads and then you finish with a longer run along the promenade.

Distances available include:
Taster Duathlon: 2km run, 10km cycle, 5km run
Classic Distance: 4km run, 40km cycle, 10km run
