Help us take a snapshot of Bedgebury Pinetum's biodiversity!
To celebrate Bedgebury National Pinetum's big birthday in 2025, we invite you to take part in our special Centenary Bioblitz.
Immerse yourself in nature for a day of discovery, learning, and fun as we identify and record as many species as possible that call Bedgebury National Pinetum home.
From fungi and plants to birds and bugs, each observation helps us better understand and protect this special place, for the next 100 years and beyond.
Why take part?
This Bioblitz is more than just a celebration. It's an opportunity to create a snapshot of Bedgebury's incredible biodiversity. Your contributions will support ongoing conservation efforts and mark an important milestone in our centenary year.
Who can join?
Everyone! From seasoned naturalists, curious beginners or families looking for an exciting day out, roll your sleeves up and go exploring.
To fully participate in the Bioblitz, you will need a smartphone equipped with a camera and the iNaturalist app (which can be downloaded for free).
Check out our jam packed timetable of walks and activities. Everything from pond dipping, butterfly spotting, Moth ID to learning about biosecurity.
