ARTN32 ARTS FESTIVAL
The ARTN32 Arts Festival Robertsbridge invites you to an exciting range of mainly free events from 22nd to 27th October celebrating music, art, children's books, crafts, literature and more.
The village is home to many creative people in all genres of the arts, who offer the chance to learn about and take part in their crafts. As well as showcasing local talent we also feature an exhibition of personal treasures and offer a musical platform for young people to shine in the spotlight.

T'HUMP: A PLATFORM FOR YOUNG TALENT - a chance for under 16s to show their talents in music, rhythm and the spoken word at The Robertsbridge Club, Wednesday 22nd October, 5-7pm - Free event.
SPOOKY BLOOMS - bring your carved pumpkin and Sandy Madge will help you transform it into a seasonal floral display. The Floral Boutique in the High Street, Wednesday 22nd October, 7-9pm, £20 per person.
SLOW STITCH WORKSHOP - with Jo DiMaggio. Join us for a workshop where you'll learn the art of mindful hand sewing creating a small textile collage - this isn't about perfection it's about the process. All materials provided, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Free event, Thursday 23rd October, 4-6pm, The Ostrich Hotel - book online at www.rap.org.uk
DANGEROUS TO KNOW - a light gothic play about notorious poet Lord Byron in the atmospheric setting of St. Mary's Church, Salehurst. Join The CLAIR / OBSCUR Theatre Company for this performance, where secrets, passions, and ghosts of the past emerge. Thursday 23rd October, 7.30pm, tickets £3-£12, with the option of a pre-theatre supper at the adjacent Salehurst Halt pub - book online at www.rap.org.uk
TRAILBLAZER: BARBARA BODICHON - the amazing life of local artist, writer, feminist and educationalist Barbara Bodichon explored by acclaimed author Jane Robinson. Free event,Friday 24th October, 6.30-8pm, The Robertsbridge Club - book online at www.rap.org.uk
HOW TO MAKE A SOAP OPERA - award winning TV producer and writer Yvonne Grace talks about her work on dramas such as EastEnders and Holby City, and shows how they are put together. You will have the chance to invent characters for a new soap! Free event.

THE PEOPLE'S GALLERY - a unique art exhibition gives you a chance to exhibit a treasured object - painting, pot, family heirloom, or even a found object. Bring your object to the Barn Coworking Space between 10am and 1pm, the exhibition will be open to all from 3-5pm on Sunday 26th October. Free event.
THE BOOKSHOP BAND - acclaimed musicians Ben and Beth perform songs inspired by books. Join us at Robertsbridge Village Hall for this musical event on Saturday 25th October at 7pm - book online at www.rap.org.uk, tickets £12.
WHAT IF MY NOSE COULD FLY? - asks children's author Ed Boxall, at a fun and music filled performance, followed by a chance for the audience to invent their own nonsense characters. For children 4-12 years old. Free event on Monday 27th October, 2-4pm at The Robertsbridge Club - book online at www.rap.co.uk
