Every two years Rye Museum hosts a Medieval Conference which attracts speakers and participants from all over the UK and sometimes elsewhere too.  The theme for the 2016 conference has been selected:  Conspicuous Consumption  and Display in Late Medieval England. 

Topics includ: feasting, jewelry, country houses and castles and splendid burial places.
