Bexhill-on-Sea once again made history on Saturday 22 July 2017

Large crowds of people grew to witness the spectacle of Bexhill’s attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Charleston dance.  Having only just missed out on retaking the record last year (825), people from all over came to ensure it was done.

Dancers began to gather in anticipation as they were counted and clicked through to the waiting area and then everyone was ready, the dancing began.  Led by the Debonnaire dancers, everyone Charlestoned their feet off for 5 minutes.

Once completed – 1086 dancers had taken part.   Bexhill had regained the title  -  well done to all!!
