About

Since 1995, The Oldie magazine (www.theoldie.co.uk) has been hosting literary lunches at Simpson's-in-the-Strand for its readers. After drinks and a bibulous three-course lunch, 150 readers listen to three top authors speaking for just ten minutes each about their latest book. It's a lot of fun.

So, with the kind permission of David and Sarah Kowitz, The Oldie is hosting an identical lunch at Fairlight Hall, their beautiful home near Hastings. We are donating the profits of the lunch to the Conquest Hospital.
CONFIRMED SPEAKERS:
Craig Brown
On his new collection of articles, Haywire
Marry Killen and Giles Wood
On Giles & Mary: Country Life, a story of peaks and throughs
Harry Mount
On Et Tu, Brute? The Best Latin Lines Ever, written with John Davie: a Latin omnibus from Virgil to saucy graffiti.
TO BOOK TICKETS email reservations@theoldie.co.uk or call Katherine on 01225 427311 (Mon-Fri 9.30am-3pm).
