After a spot of shopping, take a break and unwind at the Priory Meadow Beach in Queens Square. The giant sand pit is the perfect spot to sink into a deckchair while the little ones build sandcastles and play. Open daily this summer.
Plus join us all season long for a sunshine-filled line-up of free family events, seaside smiles, and creative fun! From giant bubbles and puppet shows to seaside crafts and roaming seagulls, there's something exciting happening every week.
Wednesday 23rd July – Vintage Bubbleologist
Step into a world of wonder as giant bubbles float, spin, and shimmer in this dazzling vintage bubble show!
Friday 1st August – Seashell Painting
Get creative by the coast! Paint your own seaside masterpiece with our colourful seashell craft session.
Wednesday 6th August – Punch and Judy
Classic seaside silliness! Don't miss the laughs and cheeky fun of Punch and Judy's puppet mayhem!
Friday 15th August – Sand Sculpture Competition LIVE
Calling all artists! Enter our summer-long design challenge and one lucky winner will have their castle creation brought to life by a professional sand sculptor!
