Priory Meadow Shopping Centre

About

Nestled between upcoming vibrant St Leonards, and quaint Hastings Old Town, Priory Meadow Shopping Centre has proudly served the local community for over 25 years in the heart of Hastings town centre.

With a mix of well-known brands and independents, retailers include Marks and Spencer, Waterstones, Primark, H&M and Boots, amongst 40 others. View the full store list here (can I insert a link?)

You’re not short of food offerings with PizzaExpress serving up authentic pizzas, 1066 Café and Bakery a 4th generation family run business who pride themselves on sourcing local products, and Khalid’s Kitchen another family run business making delicious middle eastern cuisine. You’ll find many other independent eateries from jacket potatoes to Asian and Greek street food.

There’s a family-friendly annual events calendar; jam packed with free events. From make-and-takes to kids' character meet and greets. The centre comes alive in the summer with a giant sand beach to take a break from shopping and enjoy the sunshine whilst little ones make sandcastles. Christmas is bursting with festivities and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas.

A statue of a cricketer is a local landmark. ‘The Spirit of Cricket’ bronze sculpture is sited in the external shopping area Queens Square, to commemorate the cricket ground that once stood there. If you look carefully, you’ll spot the cricket ball mounted on the wall above F.Hinds.
