Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat is an independent lifeboat service operating from Pett Level and covering the coastline and inland waters between Hastings and Camber.
Being independent we are entirely self-managed and self-financed - we do not receive ANY centralised funding.
Our annual Open Day is our flagship fundraising event which secures vital funds for both operating costs and major projects.
Its a hugely fun day with loads going on for everyone in the family.
The event includes:
* A bar serving beer, lager, cider and soft drinks - as well as our delicious Pett Punch!
* All day BBQ with good quality burgers and sausages supplied by our local butcher.
* Lots of local stallholders selling quality items from clothing, jewellery, arts and crafts and homemade ice cream
* Grand Raffle with cash prizes and more..
* Live music all day
* Daft games and entertainment
* Bottle tombola and 'guess' competitions
* Live sea display
