The Smugglers Adventure is a network of underground caves and caverns, filled with secret tunnels that once harbored the darkest of deeds. The smugglers of Hastings used these hidden passageways to store and organize their illegal cargo from across the seas.
But that's not all. St. Clement's Caves were formed over 14,000 years ago during the last known Ice Age, and since their creation, these caves have been witness to some of the most sinister events in the history of the Hastings area. The caves have been a home, a hospital, an air-raid shelter, and even a ballroom, visited by none other than the royal family and The Rolling Stones themselves. Yet, these ancient caves hold more secrets than meets the eye. No one knows for sure how long the caves have been used by man, or what else lurks within their twisted tunnels. The stonework is etched with so much mystery that even researchers still struggle to uncover the truth of this historic area's dark past.
