In 1876 Lord and Lady Brassey set off on an ambitious journey around the world in a steam yacht, Lady Brassey was an enthusiastic collector of artefacts, many of which are now on display in Hastings Museum. This presentation by Ken Brooks is based on original images and notes from the journal that Lady Brassey kept during the voyage.
