Add The Gallivant to your Itinerary

bright hotel room with large double bed and doors out to garden

The sand between your toes. Sky and beach as far as your eyes can see. The Gallivant is a Boutique Hotel across the road from the dunes and the beautiful beach of Camber Sands.

A blast of fresh air. A breathtaking beach. Wonderful food made with love. Only bettered by sinking into a sensational bed, in a beautifully thought out room. And an invitation to find inspiration through daily yoga, talks and workshops.

Choose the Complete Gallivant (from £395) if you want us to take care of absolutely everything or Essential Gallivant (from £315) if you are looking for a simpler stay.

Eating and drinking should be a celebration. That’s why you’ll find fresh ingredients from the surrounding land and sea, a wine list stocked with stunning English wine, and a style of cooking that celebrates where we are and what we have around us.

Nico and his team serve wonderful food made with love for you to enjoy. Virtually all British and very locally sourced when possible.

You can enjoy it in the Dining room, Bar, outside on the Terrace and even on the beach. No pressure on space. No pressure on you.

Yoga and Wellness classes and experiences are open to all levels of ability; no previous experience is required. Classes are held in our beautiful studio, The Open Space. When the weather is kind, we take our practice into the dunes for wild yoga overlooking the beach in the warmer months.

Our mini spa, The Bamford Cabin, is a relaxing little oasis nestled in a corner of our coastal garden. The place for soothing facials and relaxing massages – it’s a little bit of heaven, a hop and a skip from the beach.

Your Home from Home by the beach; Gallivant membership gives you priority booking, special member rates, access to exclusive member only events and much more. Happiness is a place you can join.

Whether you live locally or further afield, enjoy priority access to our beautifully considered spaces, exquisitely prepared food, sensational beds, calming treatments, inspiring classes and special events.

But above all else, a team that are here to make you smile. So you leave not only happy but inspired and restored too.

We welcome everyone 16 and over.
