Downash Wood is a private selection of unique self-catering accommodation in treehouses and cabins set within deciduous woodland in the High Weald National Landscape next to Bewl Water Reservoir in East Sussex, just one hour from London.
Each space is set within its very own woodland and secluded from each other offering solitude in natural surroundings where you can kick back and relax knowing that you have all the mod cons in your woodland retreat.
All spaces are connected to mains electric, water and have mains flushing loos. All you need to bring is yourself with clothing and food and drink and we aim to provide the rest.
You can enjoy the great outdoors with superb cycling and walking at Bewl Water or Bedgebury Pinetum and local village walks through Ticehurst, Three Leg Cross and Flimwell or a little further to coastal fun at Hastings, Rye and Camber Sands.
Or simply kick back and relax around your very own BBQ firepit, toasting marshmallows and star gazing, spotting the resident deer, barn owls, buzzards, pheasants, badgers and an abundance of birds and more.
Coddiwomple Cabin and Willow the Wisp Cabin have exclusive hot tubs on their sun decks where you can enjoy some bubbles with your partner whilst sunken into your steamy bath stargazing and wildlife watching.
Just one hour from London and you can be back to nature and soaking up the green space, which is proven to improve your health and wellbeing.
