Yoga at the Museum

Hastings Museum and Art Gallery are teaming up with Lisa Powell and Karen Simnett to run a yoga class every two weeks in our beautiful Durbar Hall. Come along and see what yoga has to offer you.

Please contact Hastings Museum and Art Gallery on 01424 451052 to book. For more details please contact us at Each class costs £6.50. As the first class in January was very popular, we will ask to take payment when you book in order to secure your place. Please see all dates below.

Please bring your own mat if you have one. Lisa and Karen have a few mats that can be borrowed but there won't be enough for a full class!

Lisa Powell has been teaching yoga since 2001 and is a senior teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Yoga has been a part of her life since 1990. Since the start of her training in India, she has been influenced by many styles and teachers.

Karen Simnett has been practicing yoga for 10 years and she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in India at the start of 2017. She teaches in many local yoga studios and in the summer holds outdoor classes.
